Keiko Kodai is an artist/craftswoman of Japan. She is a
painter of the beloved themes of Japan. Her art is rooted in
the Japanese crafts' movement. Her textile designs and "Nihonga"
painting have been anxiously received by many collectors. I
have known Kodai-san for over 25 years and have been enchanted
by the delicate strength of her compositions. I am impressed
by her ability to provide freshness and light and beauty with
the work she does. Her husband, Hiroto, is a prominent textile
designer. They have two college aged children, Masaki and Yuichi,
studying architecture in London. Also, their boxer dogs, Ause
and Pettonton, keep them busy even with their children at school.
I hope you will enjoy these giclee prints and much as I do.
